It's well known that the internet is for cat photos, so here are some cats! And dogs!
I've never been able to have my own pets (stupid NZ renting laws) but these were my parents'. The cats I grew up with, but the photos of the dogs I grew up with aren't scanned. Yet.
Willow1991ish-2007 (I think). Willow was my cat. Or was I her human? She was a menace but had a lot of purr. I'm sure she'd mastered human pressure points to move me in to a better position to sleep on. She never hunted birds - they'd fly away which was cheating. Rabbits were fair game hthough. |

| Tarot1991ish-2009 (I think). Tarot was Willow's sister, but she was my mum's cat. Would wake you up by licking your eyebrows if you slept in. Tarot was hit by a car when she was young, resulting in several pins in her hips. She became a lap cat, but really loved the vet for saving her. Vets aren't used to animals being happy to see them. |
Harry2002ish-2017 Harry was a dachshund cross labrador. He looked like a labrador until he stood up and he didn't. He was a very smart dog. Possibly too smart. His previous owner had to give him up as he got too old to care for him. Harry was a friend to everybody, except the DoC ranger and blackbirds. |

| Bonnie2007ish-? Bonnie was the opposite of Harry. An apparently pure bread border collie, but they didn't keep the brains in the bloodline. Probably from a puppy farm, but as always my parents got her from the SPCA. She wasn't allowed on the sofa. |
